ALICANTE, SPAIN June 21,2012: Today was the Parade of Flowers, and during a long parade such as this life must go on for some people. During the parade HVAC workers needed to continue working and as such they kept cuting across the parade route with their elbows, insulation, carts of tools, but when they came through with the large ducts they received cheers from the crowd and the usually serious marchers cracked a few smiles. It may be the most important festival of the year but some work needs to get done. The procession ended at the Cathedral of St. Nicholas where the marchers could take a break and while dressed in period clothing could take a minute and speak on their iPhones.
